Antimicrobial and antioxidant activity of impregnated pectin and alginate based bio composite packaging material for fresh produce safety

The objective of the presented work was to develop, characterize and evaluate biodegradable, proactive, protective, novel active packaging blend films low methoxy pectin sodium alginate identify their antimicrobial antioxidant ability with plant-based natural phytochemicals like cinnamaldehyde.
